Pomodo is a Pomodoro timer with ambient sound, made by Shuhrat Kobulov. It has no accounts and no server of its own. This page says what stays on your device and what Google Analytics collects.
What stays in your browser
Your timer, tasks, saved sound mixes, settings and focus history are stored in this browser’s localStorage. They never reach a server. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes them, and they do not move to another browser or device.
The app itself and the sounds you play are also kept in your browser’s cache (Cache Storage, through a service worker), so Pomodo opens and plays offline. That cache holds only Pomodo’s own files, never anything you typed.
Analytics
Pomodo uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see how the app is used. Like on any site that uses it, Google Analytics records standard usage data: the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser, the site that sent you here, and interactions such as scrolling.
On top of that, Pomodo sends two events of its own — focus started and focus completed — each carrying only the session length in minutes. Task names, mix names and the “Working on” field are never sent.
Pomodo uses no other analytics service, shows no ads, and sells no data.
